The Ateneo de Davao University Junior High School (ADDU JHS) hosted a Ceremonial Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with their institutional partner from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology (NIS-CB), Kazakhstan last 19 October 2022 via Zoom teleconference.
The Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology, Kazakhstan was represented by Mr. Daniyar Serikovich Ualiyev, its School Principal, Ms. Raikhan Zhenisovna Baimukanova, Vice Principal; while the Ateneo de Davao University Junior High School was represented by Rev. Fr. Joel E. Tabora, SJ, University President, Ms. Alma Raymonda Sotto-Bartolata, Assistant Principal for Administration, Mr. Vun Leeu Ween Q. Romerde, Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Excesima L. Pasilan, Assistant Principal for Formation.
The partnership was made in the name of fostering quality education and global citizenship among students. ADDU JHS and NIS-CB Kazakhstan seek to host programs for cultural exchange, academic linkage, meaningful conferences, and joint research.
The preliminary engagements with NIS-CB for this year will be hosted by the ADDU JHS Science Club members from grade levels 9 and 10, to be led by the moderator Ms. Laarni C. Lorono.
