INTERNATIONAL STUDENTSThe Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office offers transformative encounters for its International Students with the people of Mindanao through various programs and activities. AIM also offers assistance for the visa and requirements processing of the students.
UNIVERSITY LIFE
The Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) offers a vibrant and dynamic school life to its students as it offers activities and programs that enrich not only their academic aspect, but also their social, spiritual, and nationalistic senses. AdDU aims to hone sui generis leaders by forming global leaders for local impacts. Students engage on clubs and organizations—Spiritual or Religious, Socio-political or Socio-civic, and Cultural—that cater to a varied range of interests.
Aside from different clubs and organizations, the University conducts events such as the annual Ateneo College Fiesta to solemnize the Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Palarong Atenista to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie through sports, and the Festival of Excellence to celebrate cultures, artistry, and knowledge through inter-cluster competitions.
Students are also given the opportunity for spiritual formation through retreats, recollections, and formation sessions conducted by the Campus Ministry Office and Ignatian Spirituality and Formation Office.

Davao City is a good choice for international students to study in. From its very hospitable people, down to its affordable living expenses, Davao City has got it all for you.
As a graduate, I can definitely say that the institution has greatly provided me with knowledge and honed my leadership abilities, during my entire stay in the university. Being an international student in Davao City didn’t hinder me from immersing myself with the local culture and its languages.
Lastly, I could proudly say that, choosing Ateneo de Davao and Davao City as my second home is the best decision I’ve ever made–life is here.
Ateneo de Davao University provides excellent education and significant social values, which helps me to be exceptional in academics, grow myself spiritually, and to engage in the community by applying my lessons in practice.
As an international student, my overall experience at Ateneo de Davao University was great. Everyone was treated fairly, [and] I never felt any difference being an international student. Thus, it made my stay and studies more fun.
I don’t have any regrets coming to Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City, and Mindanao.
