International Study Visit Program

The Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office is dedicated to nurturing transnational cooperation and promoting international dialogue by forging strategic partnerships with universities, higher educational institutions, and international organizations abroad. This commitment aligns with the university’s overarching mission of promoting cultural understanding and fostering friendships with its Asian neighbors.

The International Study Visit Program is a short-term, cross-cultural engagement program for the faculty, administrators, and non-teaching staff members of Ateneo de Davao University. It will provide opportunities for international travel, networking, and collaboration with partner universities and organizations abroad. The program is open to all, not just full-time employees. The call for applications extends to probationary and part-time employees.

We are pleased to invite administrators, faculty, and staff to apply to our International Study Visit Program. This cycle of the ISV will be held in partnership with Sanata Dharma University (Yogyakarta) and Dhyana Pura University (Bali).

Primer for Indonesia

OBJECTIVES

Strengthen ties with Sanata Dharma University, fostering continued collaboration in academic and community engagement initiatives.

Establish a partnership with Dhyana Pura University, broadening opportunities for mutual learning and shared projects.

Provide participants with the opportunity to experience and appreciate Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.

Facilitate benchmarking and networking activities to exchange best practices in higher education and institutional management.

PROGRAM TRACK

Yogyakarta & Bali, Indonesia

This cycle of the International Study Visit (ISV) will be held in partnership with Sanata Dharma University (Yogyakarta) and Dhyana Pura University (Bali) and will feature eight (8) days of intensive cultural immersion through city tours, visits to heritage sites, and dialogue sessions with the partner universities.

PROGRAM GUIDELINES

How To Apply

1. Fill out the Application Form.

2. Wait for a Notice of Acceptance (NOA). Once you receive the NOA, it will include the participation contract, payment details, and list of travel requirements.

3. Submit the Participation Contract.

4. Receive an invitation to the Program Orientation and be sure to attend it.

Program Output

1. Evaluations will be provided to all participants to assess if the program meets its objectives and goals. It is also essential to learn their feedback and any other ways to improve the program if necessary.

2. The participants of the International Study Visit are required to submit a short report that reflects their learnings from the study visit.
