The Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU), through the Ateneo Language Center (ALC) and the Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office, offers the Intensive English Language Program to the undergraduate students of ADDU’s partner higher education institutions.
This program is a one-month on-site English language course and is offered to the undergraduate students of our partner institutions. It is designed to provide learners with intensive training toward English proficiency. This entails skills enhancement to expand vocabulary, polish pronunciation, and boost communication skills. Hence, the English Language Course’s provision of in-depth sessions for a well-rounded learning experience for English speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
The program is also infused with cultural learning immersion that introduces the history and heritage of Davao City, Mindanao, through study tours and academic dialogue.
And as part of the University’s efforts to foster Globally-Networked Learning Environments, the English Language Program invites international participants to a learning environment where they can improve their English language skills and comprehension. The program, therefore, provides in-depth sessions (e.g. speaking, listening, reading, and writing) for a well-rounded understanding of the English language. Instructors and experts from the Ateneo Language Center will facilitate the course and evaluate the participants.
