The Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) brought its vibrant campus experience to the broader community through its first-ever University Fair, held on 7-8 March 2025 at the Abreeza Ayala Mall Activity Center.
Representing all academic units—from Grade School, Junior High School, Senior High School, College, and Graduate School to the College of Law and the Lifelong Learning Center—the fair warmly welcomed prospective students, parents, alumni, and members of the wider community. It showcased the university’s academic programs, holistic support services, innovative mission-driven initiatives, and meaningful opportunities for engagement with Ateneo faculty and students.
Guests enjoyed special performances, interactive exhibits, promotional talks, and a live podcast on College Survival 101 with students and alumni. Booths were organized by various units and departments, including the Basic Education, College Clusters, SAMAHAN and Council of Organizations of the Ateneo – Davao (COA-D), Office of Student Affairs, Graduate School, Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao Office, Athletics Office, Alumni Office, and Human Resource Management and Development Office.
To add excitement and fun, the fair hosted inter-school competitions: Kinder Quest for grade school students; On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest for junior high students; Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament and the Sabay sa Bughaw: The Next Ateneo Voices Singing Competition for junior and senior high students; and the open-category Are You Ready? Trivia Challenge.
Through the collective efforts of the Ateneo community, the University Fair set a precedent in celebrating and sharing the commitment to excellent instruction and formation, robust research, and vibrant community service—as a premier Catholic and Jesuit university in Southern Philippines—together with the greater Davao community.
