The Commission on Higher Education in partnership with the Embassy of the United States of America in Manila hosted the “Pathways to Opportunity: PH-US University Partnerships Networking Event” last 18 September 2020. The networking event provided an opportunity for Philippine and U.S. higher education institutions to explore and pursue mutually beneficial partnerships in education.
It enabled the AIM Office to acquire a database of US HEI contacts who are interested in bridging international programs for pursuits in the sciences, the arts, and even in business. It was through this networking event that AIM was able to collaborate with the American Musical and Dramatic Academic, New York for its international learning session on performance arts. We hope to further activate this network for future partnerships and virtual collaborations, and once the global pandemic is under control, pursue long-term academic programs for exchange and transnational education.
