2. Student informs the AIM Office of their interest by completing the Nomination Request Form.

Note: The Nomination Request Form will provide an overview of the global opportunity that the student was able to find. The requirements vary from university to university, and so an online form will help streamline the request for a nomination.

3. The AIM Office will acknowledge the nomination request via email and proceed with the preparation of application requirements.

Note: The contents of the nomination request form will be carefully reviewed. If there are issues with the inputted data, the student will be informed. The clarifications should be settled before proceeding with the next step.

1. The AIM Office endorses the nomination request to the student’s home academic department.

Note: The endorsement letter will outline the need for an approved study plan to formalize the nomination process. It is addressed to the Dean and the Student’s Department Chair. A complete list of courses available from the host university will be forwarded for reference as well.

2. The Dean, through the Department Chair, finalizes and approves a Study Plan for the prospective student exchange nominee by filling out the Study Plan Declaration Form.

Note: The Study Plan Declaration Form will ask the Academic Department to also upload the Course Pre-Registration Form that they wish to submit to the student’s prospective host university.

Students may also apply for the University’s Global Citizenship Fund (GCF) to help support participation in these programs.

GCF aims to support and subsidize student mobility initiatives—whether short-term or semester-long academic programs abroad. These opportunities enrich students’ academic, formative, experiential, and global learning experiences.
