The Ateneo de Davao Academy of Lifelong Learning (ADD-ALL) ends the year on a high note with its implementation of the Foreign Scholarships Training Program (FSTP), a project in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
This project aims to introduce design thinking to selected military and civilian officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and help them develop project management strategies using the approach.
This comes at a time wherein the AFP is looking to breathe new life into the organization and realign its many functions. There are 18 grantee-participants from all over the country, supported by the Office of Sen. Francis Tolentino.
One of the program’s components is a study visit to Humber College in Ontario, Canada from November 20 to December 3, 2022, during which the participants are given the opportunity to learn more about the partner school’s best practices in design thinking and project management.
The participants were accompanied by representatives from the ADD-ALL, CHED, and the Canadian Embassy, who also took part in the lectures and activities prepared by the instructors.
