Ateneo INTERNATIONALIZATION week
At Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU), internationalization goes beyond mobility—it is about advancing strategic collaborations in the mission and shaping a globally engaged academic community that supports the university’s commitment to excellence. Through curriculum enhancement, academic mobility, and institutional partnerships infused with research, advocacy, and experiential learning, the university commits to preparing its graduates for the complexities of the world. Hence, internationalization is a shared responsibility among the university community collaborating to integrate global perspectives into administration, formation, instruction, research, and community engagement.
To support these commitments, the AIM Office will host the Internationalization (IZN) Week: Mobility, Exchange, and Learning Beyond Campus, a five-day event focused on global engagement, collaboration, and action, to be held on 16-20 February 2026.
The IZN Week invites members of the ADDU community (administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni) and higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Davao Region. Participants will take part in sessions on international learning, institutional partnership networking, and global citizenship.
We are happy to invite you to this year’s IZN Week, a celebration of global engagement, collaboration, and action. Participants can look forward to online and onsite sessions and workshops that will provide opportunities for meaningful and formative discussions and exchanges, and experience internationalization in action.
INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
Increase awareness and understanding of internationalization and global citizenship among the university community and HEIs in the Davao region;
GLOBAL PROGRAMS
Provide insights into IZN programs and how they contribute to global learning and institutional growth; and
COLLABORATION
Facilitate institutional networking and collaboration to explore potential areas of cooperation.
