For the past year, the Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office has been actively participating in international virtual fairs for the purpose of networking and creating partnerships with educational institutions around the globe. At present, AIM has gathered a substantial amount of contacts from international officers from different schools and universities. Some of which have proceeded to meet initially for discussion of possible areas of collaboration.
As the AIM Office acts as a coordinating body for these collaborations, there is a need to identify specific departments and offices in the university to actualize the partnership between Ateneo de Davao University and its international partner(s). To do so, the Global Faculty Lounge will act as a venue for the counterpart(s) of each school or university to discuss specific actions for the collaboration. This meeting will be done through the videoconferencing platform Zoom.
OBJECTIVES
Introduce each university’s counterpart to each other.
Create rapport between the two universities.
Identify specific programs/activities for collaboration.
Get to know the present situation of each university in terms of academics, admission, etc.
Discuss next steps to implement identified programs/activities.
