As Ateneo de Davao University expands its network of local, national, and international partners, the need for a more coordinated institutional approach has become increasingly important. In response, the University conducted the Presentation and Orientation of the Partnerships Framework and Portal on 19 August 2026 via Zoom video conference.<\/p>\n
The session introduced the Partners in the Mission: University Partnerships Framework<\/em>, together with its Operational Procedures. The Framework sets out the policy foundations, governance principles, and institutional processes that guide the development and management of University partnerships.<\/p>\n Mr. Mark Paul O. Samante, Director of the Community Engagement and Sustainable Development Office (CESDO), opened the discussion with the Policy Foundations and Governance Principles of the Framework. He discussed the rationale for a University-wide approach to partnerships and clarified the roles and responsibilities of the offices and units involved in their development, review, approval, and management.<\/p>\n Building on this policy foundation, Mr. Romulo Vinci R. Bueza, Executive Assistant to the University President and Director of the Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office, presented the Operational Procedures. He outlined the processes that units are expected to follow throughout the partnership cycle, from the identification and assessment of potential partners to formalization, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, renewal, and, when appropriate, conclusion.<\/p>\n The session then turned to partnership documentation and institutional records. Ms. Lyd Ejira C. Ducusin, AIM Assistant Director, introduced the Central Partnership Registry and Partnerships Information System (PIS) as the University\u2019s official portal for registering, classifying, and monitoring partnership agreements and related engagements.
