The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities in Asia Pacific (AJCU-AP), through Ateneo de Davao University, continues to strengthen international academic collaboration through the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Program. This new cycle features a wide range of interdisciplinary courses involving partner institutions from Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Malaysia.<\/p>\n
COIL provides a transformative platform where faculty and students engage in meaningful cross-cultural academic exchange through virtual modalities. For this second iteration of the program, diverse pairings have been facilitated.<\/span><\/p>\n One of the ongoing COIL classes involves a pairing between <\/span>Ateneo de Davao University, Philippines, and Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan<\/b>. The two institutions jointly offer a course on<\/span> Introduction to Language, Society, and Culture and Freshman English (Advanced) <\/span><\/i>beginning 26 February 2025, guided by Dr. Josyl Aquilam and Dr. Tammy Hsu.<\/span><\/p>\n In the field of theology, a <\/span>Christology<\/span><\/i> course developed by <\/span>Sanata Dharma University, Indonesia, and Ateneo de Davao University, Philippines <\/b>commenced on 11 March 2025. This course, led by Ms. Dina Adam and Mr. Alvin George C. Cobar, began on 25 March 2025 and combined perspectives from health sciences and applied fitness.<\/span><\/p>\n Scheduled for implementation in the upcoming semester is a collaboration between <\/span>Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia<\/b>, and <\/span>Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines<\/b>.
