It fosters cultural understanding, appreciation, and friendship with its international neighbors through formative, experiential, and global learning.<\/p>\n With Ateneo de Davao University\u2019s community partners, AIM bridges local and international contexts through intercultural encounters and transformative dialogue towards deeper awareness of our shared humanity.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_divider color=”rgba(2,4,67,0.18)” _builder_version=”4.16″ width=”100%” module_alignment=”center” custom_padding=”10px||||false|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ text_font=”Spectral||||||||” text_text_color=”#020443″ text_font_size=”16px” custom_padding=”||45px||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The Ateneo Internationalization for Mindanao (AIM) Office<\/strong> was established last 22 June 2019 as a realization of Ateneo de Davao University\u2019s revitalized vision and mission; that \u2018as Filipino, it contributes to and serves Mindanao\u2019<\/em>\u2014in its formation of graduates whose world-class competencies are ultimately dedicated to Mindanao\u2014while at the same time being in service of a mission that \u2018promotes cultural understanding and friendship with its Asian neighbours.\u2019<\/em> These two principles govern the goals of the AIM Office and its thrusts for strategic internationalization that is rooted in Mindanao.<\/p>\n AIM functions as the University\u2019s primary support for the development and implementation of international projects and activities, boost the accessibility of international programs by promoting short-term special programs on global experiential learning, organize the foreign students and host their formative extracurricular activities, and maximize networking opportunities through various conferences and memberships in international organizations such as the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities in Asia Pacific\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/a>(AJCU-AP)<\/a>,\u00a0Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU), <\/a><\/em>and\u00a0University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP)<\/a>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
