It aims to foster cross-cultural collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship among university and college students from Southeast Asian countries. The competition seeks to enhance mutual understanding while encouraging students to develop and apply innovative solutions to address regional and global challenges.<\/p>\n The China International College Students\u2019 Innovation Competition (CICSIC) is a premier global event that brings together university and college students from around the world to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship. It offers a platform for participants to showcase their ideas, collaborate with others, and explore innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=”Register Here” open_toggle_text_color=”#020443″ closed_toggle_text_color=”#020443″ _builder_version=”4.27.2″ title_text_color=”#020443″ title_font=”Spectral|700|on||||||” title_text_align=”center” title_font_size=”20px” closed_title_font=”Spectral|700|on||||||” closed_title_text_align=”center” closed_title_font_size=”20px” body_font=”||||||||” body_font_size=”16px” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n We would like to share with our Higher Education Unit students the mobility opportunities from our international partner institution, the\u00a0University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP).<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n UMAP\u00a0is an association of Higher Education Institutions, governments, and NGO partners in the Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n As a member of UMAP, ADDU students are eligible to participate in their various program offerings:<\/b><\/p>\n <\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Program A<\/i> <\/b>is an exchange program through which UMAP-participating institutions send and receive up to two students with tuition waivers each semester;<\/p>\n <\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Program B <\/i>is a negotiated bilateral exchange between two institutions that have agreed to exchange more than two students per semester; and<\/p>\n <\/span>\u2022 <\/span>Program C<\/i> <\/b>are short-term (one to eight-week long) programs offered by UMAP-participating universities\/institutions. Programs\u00a0are available in a wide\u00a0range of disciplines: cultural studies, language proficiency courses, vocational training, entrepreneurship,\u00a0and more.<\/p>\n All program offerings are available on their virtual platform, the UMAP Student Connection Online (USCO) system.<\/b><\/p>\n The USCO system is a comprehensive platform for sharing program information, processing\u00a0student applications, and supporting communication between students, home institutions, and host institutions. It has been upgraded to USCO 2.0<\/i>\u00a0which offers more flexibility\u00a0and functionality. EXPLORE Leadership Development for Mid-Career Roles in Academia <\/a><\/strong>(<\/a>CHRIST Deemed to be University, Bangalore, India)<\/a><\/p>\n 23-25 March 2026<\/p>\n This programme is designed for mid-career faculty in leadership roles who wish to unlock their leadership potential through expert-led, practical, and engaging learning modules.<\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n 2. Master Training Programme for Capacity Building in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) <\/a><\/strong>(<\/a>CHRIST Deemed to be University, Bangalore, India)<\/a><\/p>\n 23-28 March 2026<\/p>\n This programme is organised under the Knowledge for Change (K4C) India Hub, in collaboration with the UNESCO Chairs Dr Rajesh Tandon and Prof Budd Hall (Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education and PRIA International Academy). The highlight is a one-week residential training which will be held at CHRIST University, Bangalore Central Campus, from March 23 to 28. Participants will explore CBPR principles, ethics, tools, and practices to build stronger Community-University partnerships and co-create impactful, socially relevant knowledge. This opportunity is ideal for faculty, researchers, doctoral scholars, and development practitioners passionate about participatory and community-engaged research.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>3. Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development \u2013 Phase 2 (SEED-2) Program for Academic Year 2026-2027<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The SEED-2 Program is an expansion of the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships for Educational Exchanges and Development (SEED), which supported eight cohorts of students from 2018 to 2026 and awarded more than 1,000 scholarships across the ASEAN region. SEED-2 is a key initiative under Canada\u2019s Indo-Pacific Strategy, providing scholarship opportunities for students from ASEAN Member States, Pacific Island Countries and Mongolia to undertake short-term studies or research (4-8 months) in Canadian post-secondary institutions in areas that contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 4. Thailand Scholarships Program from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) of Thailand<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The scholarship is an initiative of the MHESI aimed at promoting higher education, strengthening international cooperation, and supporting human capital development among all nationalities under the Thailand Scholarships Group 2 scheme. The program offers over 170 scholarships covering more than 200 programs in the Master\u2019s and Doctoral levels, as well as exchange and training programs.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>5. DUO-Belgium\/ Wallonia-Brussels Programme 2026<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The DUO-Belgium\/Wallonia-Brussels Programme is managed by the Academy for Research and Higher Education (ARES) with an aim to promote exchanges of people between Belgium\/Wallonia-Brussels and Asian ASEM member countries on a balanced and permanent basis. Under the DUO-Belgium\/Wallonia-Brussels Fellowship, professors\/researchers of Asian universities can have financial support for their exchanges with Belgium\/Wallonia-Brussels.
